KonTiki X exclusively pursues projects with strong triple bottom lines – economic, social, and environmental.

Economic

Projects must be profitable to become self‑sustaining and pay for the resources they consume. A significant portion of the revenue generated stays within the community rather than being exported abroad.

Social

At a minimum, our projects provide local employment and generate sales for local suppliers. Living standards steadily improve as people gain knowledge and skills. We teach, educate, and inform communities about the advantages and profit they can achieve by starting their own waste‑to‑value businesses.

We inspire hope for the future. People learn the value of their labor and realize how to use idle time to generate income. Ideally, they do much more: employees and their families may gain access to education and health care that were previously unavailable.

Suppliers working with us may gain access to markets, communications, and business connections that help them develop independently of KonTiki X. The presence of a successful enterprise where none existed before may also make the community eligible for government‑supplied benefits – roads, solar power, and other services that often bypass rural areas.

Our projects provide not only livelihood and income‑generating activities, but also ecological restoration.

Environmental

Through KonTiki X, we complement a healthy atmosphere of enormous green foliage – cleaner air, less waste, and biochar that enriches the soil. A cleaner environment freshens the mind, relieves worries, and lessens boredom.

We believe that humankind is responsible for the care of the planet, holding it in trust for all other living things and for future generations.
