Who we are

KonTiki X (contact: info@kontikix.com) is a sole proprietorship based in the Netherlands. We build and sell portable KonTiki kilns for biochar production.

What data we collect

We do not use any contact forms on our website. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, or marketing pixels.

If you contact us by email (info@kontikix.com), we may store:

• Your name
• Your email address or phone number
• Any other information you choose to share (e.g., your location, waste type, kiln questions)

Why we collect it

We collect your data only to answer your questions, send you information about our kilns, and process any orders you place. We do not use your data for automated decision‑making or profiling.

We keep email and WhatsApp correspondence for as long as necessary to serve you, and up to two years after our last contact, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention (e.g., tax records for invoices). You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law (e.g., a court order) or necessary to deliver a product you ordered (e.g., a shipping company’s address).
